The recent snafu about Hillary leaving or not leaving a tip for a waitress illustrates the problem of liberal government.

First, they say they left a $100 tip for a $150 bill. Now 20% is a fine tip 25% generous, but over 60%. Liberal tend to overpay.

Second, this wasn't paid by the eaters, but by the champaign coffers. Liberals are generous with other people's money. (Remember Hillary deducting Bill's underwear as a charitable deduction.)

Third, the money they intended to get to the waitress didn't get to her. The entire amount was consumed by the "restaurant bureaucracy." No one seams to know where the money went. Welfare is only marginally better, delivering a whopping 28% to the intended. Government is wasteful.

There in one campaign story are the reasons never to elect a liberal to a position responsible for spending money.
